Their food is always solid and affordable and. I highly recommend the chicken chow mein, fried fish and fried rice. The place serves family style in unassuming paper plates and plastic spoons. It’s a no frills place with good food. Parking can be a bit difficult during the dinner rush and you may have to park a bit further from the location but you will find a spot eventually.

We came in 7/6 and no one was inside, the male host didnt greet us and was his usual unpleasant self but I digress. The food is amazing nothing to say about that, its just the guy who serves and takes the order is incredibly rude. My husband ordered beef noodle soup and he brought us spicy and when we said we didnt order 'spicy', the host then insisted we did and we know we didn't because we've tried it before and didnt like it so we knew not to order it again.. anyways my husband asked to take the soup back and he said "what u mean, thats what you orderd!" and he got very aggressive in front of my family and son and we left because we DO NOT deserve to be treated that way as paying customers. Never again. Please be kinder to your guests in the future.

The food at Mr. Dumpling in Rancho Cucamonga is consistently good, portions are generous, and service is usually quick, which is exactly why I returned multiple times and even referred others. Unfortunately, what changed was the way I was treated. On my initial visit, I was accompanied by someone who did not look like me, and the service was warm, pleasant, and welcoming. However, once I began returning alone, I noticed a very clear shift in the owner’s demeanor. The pleasantries disappeared, interactions became noticeably short, and the overall energy toward me changed significantly. Today was my first time placing a pickup order, and after purchasing multiple items, I asked for the same sauces and condiments typically available when dining in, since those extras are part of what makes the meal enjoyable. Instead, I was given minimal sauce portions, and when I politely asked for extra, I was told, “You make it hard for me.” Combined with the consistent change in treatment I have personally experienced over multiple visits, this interaction left me deeply uncomfortable and questioning why the level of service I received changed so drastically. I was pleasantly surprised by Mr. Dumpling. I didn't expect much, but the food was incredibly delicious, tasty, and fresh. We tried a variety of dishes, including the beef & green onion pan-fried dumplings, juicy pork xiaolongbaos, spicy beef noodle soup, house cucumber salad, pork wonton & spicy sauce, and spiced beef tendon. Everything was amazing, but the beef & green onion pan-fried dumplings and spiced beef tendon were my favorites. The waiter was funny and very helpful in guiding us with our food choices. The prices were very reasonable, and I will definitely be back soon.
